    Hi,

The size of the original is 720 x 576.
The frame rate of the original is 25.

As far is my FCP set up… DV-NSTC but my final output will be a Quicktime .Mov

To be specific I will edit a little then export the .mov to import into Cubase SX this way when I perform live (music performance) the video will play in sync behind me.

Thanks a lot to everyone helping me… the show is this Saturday night!

    Hi Everyone,

So I have success! It turns out that installing Perian also allowed me to import AVI into FCP… so there wasnt a need afterall to export it into something from Quicktime. Very pleased. Then I was able to render, edit and export it again and my final file was small and looked close to the original in quality.

    Thanks very much!!!
