I am wanting to convert 25fps (progressive) to 50fps. Is there a good way of doing this in APP?

    -Thank you in advanced

How do you want the 50fps version to look: repeated frames, interpolated frames, interlaced? Placing a 25fps clip into a 50fps sequence will automatically create repeated frames.

Im not quit sure, first time converting a video clip to a higher frame-rate. I just want it to suit 720, 50p. Would interpolated frames be best?

Yes, but you will need to use After Effects. Do you have access to it?

Take a look at Time Warp and Frame Blending with pixel motion. You will have to judge whether it is appropriate for your particular circumstance.
