    Best way of stabilizing shaky footage?

    Hi,

    I wonder which way most people use to stabilize shaky footage. SmoothCam can be of some help but as soon as I got rumbles from driving or heavy shaking in helicopter footage I get a really blurry result.

    Any Plug-Ins or hints to After Effects or Motion? I tried Smoothing/Stabilizing in Motion too but it doesn’t get much better there than in FCP. I work with XDCam1080 50i Footage… is interlaced material a problem or how can I improve my results?
