Best way HD in Premier timeline to (SD) AVI to web
So I got all this awesome footage in HD.
I need to get it in SD and for Web
Tried to use Adobe Media Encoder ….. SD (aka DV) comes out looking pretty bad when I compare it to other footage originally shot in SD.
I tried going export -> movie in .avi same thing
Footage looks out of focus, washed out.
I can take the SD then use Quick time Pro to get it in Web Format…
So whats the best way to get HD timeline in Premier to AVI (that Quicktime would be able to convert)

Import the HDV project into a SD project. Open the original sequence (don’t nest it) and scale the HD images down to the project frame size. Export to DV AVI from there.
