Best Way ?
I want to be able to capture video into Final Cut pro through some type of device that would be compatible with log and capture
The only problem is that my new iMac doesn’t have a Fire wire 400 port on it ?
Before I had a Canopus Box that worked fine but now it cant connect to my iMac
Anyway Way ??

NEW new iMac has no firewire? But it has Thunderbolt, right?
Well, the Matrox MXO2 Mini…with the Matrox Thunderbolt adapter…might work.

It should have a Firewire 800 port – FW800 is backwards compatible with FW400, all you need is a 9 pin to 6 pin cable.
