Best video card for FCP and NEC monitors
Greetings,
I am brand new to this group and have been commissioned by a friend to help set up his FCP workstation. He has three NEC PA271W with SpectrView monitors and is looking for the best video card for each of them.
He is using:
Latest version of FCP
New Mac Pro 12 core w/ 16gigs of RamYour input will be greatly appreciated.

These are graphics cards. Video Cards for NLE systems are the ones that capture and / or play back video onto television monitors.
I’m partial to the ATI cards.

NEC PA271W are high quality Graphics monitors (12b!!); a huge investment that FC won’t profit at all.
With that money I would buy:
– HD Broadcast monitor (https://www.flandersscientific.com).
– IO card (as Walter points: BlackMagic, AJA, Matrox..)
– Two good LCD computers monitors (DELL,..)
I think it will remains some money for extras.

I’m using an NEC MultiSync PA271W Monitor. Can anyone help me create a working profile I can use for Adobe Speedgrade?
