Best version of Vegas to use based on my system specs?
I’m in an editing dilemma. I have footage that was shot on Canon DSLR 7D’s, which makes the raw footage of these files .mov’s. I’m running Windows 7, 64 bit, 8GB of RAM. Intel Core i3 processor, and my video card is an AMD Radeon HD 6450. What version of Vegas will work best for me (last I worked with was Vegas 8 – has much changed since, especially in terms of hot keys and the layout of the program?) and what may I need to upgrade on my PC to get the job done? If you guys need to know any other system specs of mine, let me know and I’ll provide the info.

I wouldn’t try editing RAW on an i3 system. Time to upgrade to the latest Intel i7 and 16gb RAM. The software version isn’t really the bottleneck here, but I’d upgrade to the latest, too.
