    Hey all,

I’m working on a school project for my graduation in a few weeks where the character in my video is holding a blue ball i want to replace later as shows the image below:

I can’t figure a way out to do it.

I tried using mocha but it seems too sensitive and can’t stick to the edges. I also tracked the hand first then put the ball’s layer on top and tracked it but still got problems.

Can you help me with it PLEASE?? I have to do it for school and do not want to fail! Tell me it’s doable for a beginner. Tell me what to do and what to use!

Since it is a ball, other methods failing, it should be pretty easy to track it manually, moving the layer around. Start with the end points of motion — points where the motion changes direction — and then go half-way in between recursively until it seems to stick.

Does the ball leave the persons hands?
