Hi, what are the best settings to export a Windows Media(WMV)file out of Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 using the Adobe Encoder? I need to send the best possible quality 320 x 240 sized video. I’ve tried tweaking the presets, and choosing between options V7, V8, 9, 9 Advanced profile in the Adobe Encoder. I’m even setting the maximum bit rate to 2000 kbps, and image quality to 100, and it still looks pixelated when I view the video. Other video looks clear on my screen.

I didn’t have this problem in CS3. File size isn’t too much of an issue since I send a link to clients to download the video from my online folder. I’m choosing wmv files since most of my clients can play them on their computers. Thanks in advance for any feedback, Donovan

Tweaking presets is not a good idea unless you know what you are doing.
Choose the “NTSC Source to download 512 kbps” Preset and run with that.

Thanks Mike, that worked pretty well. Sure made a smaller file.
