Hello everyone, just testing out the T3i, so far very impressed, really these little things are a real milestone along with the DVX100! I was hoping someone would know what settings I should use in CS5 to start a new project. I’ll actually be bringing in all the footage from After Effects as a project file. (After effects has a basic 1920×1080 24fps setup that happens when I drag the 600d files into it – actually it sets up as 23.97 which is wierd becuase I’m sure it shoots in 24?! anyways . . ) thankyou

Those cameras shoot 24p…which runs at 23.98. Nearly ALL VIDEO at 24p is 23.98. Straight up 24fps is FILM…and some high end tapeless format cameras. But the rest is 23.98…and that is what it SHOULD be.

hi, thanks Shane, I’ve set it to the 23 frame rate, you’ve saved me a lot of hassle – I was getting a ‘frame rate mismatch’ message now and again! Would you know the other settings to use please? I’ve made a preset with 1920×1080 and ‘square pixels’.
