  • Best setting for shooting/editing 720 in PAL?

We’ve been advised to start out shooting HD with 720p. I’m trying to read up on what to use, 720P25 or 720NP25. If the quality is the same, the latter would take up just as much (34 min on a 32GB card) as we have today, shooting 625i.

Not sure about what setting should be done, other than choosing 720NP25 as recording format (that will record DVCProHD).

Any tips greatly appreciated! We’d into buy a LCD-monitor to attach to the camera and will most likely have to use the focus assist in the beginning, since you can’t be off focus anymore… 🙂

We edit in FCP 6, will move to FCP 7 in January.

In P2 always shoot PN mode. There is no quality difference.
