best sequence settings for 1080i 24PA footage in Premiere Pro CC
Hi all
I’ve shot some footage from a Panasonic HPX 170 in the format 1080i 24PA on a P2 card. My footage info is as follows:

Drop a clip on a new timeline and let Premiere match the clip.

This also begs the question…do you want a 29.97 timeline…basically the 24p LOOK, but running interlaced at 29.97…or are you wanting a 23.98 progressive timeline? With pulldown removed… What are your master delivery needs?

My master delivery needs will be exporting for JW Player. I dropped the footage into a new sequence and changed the sequence settings to match the clips. I also made sure that pull down was removed in the interpret footage option so that my footage would be progressive. However when I add text over the clip the footage seems to have a slightly blurry line that runs through the middle and I’m trying to figure out why. Any help would be appreciated.

Also when I render selection, the footage also seems slightly blurred, but when I pause it it is crisp again. Any help understanding this would be appreciated as well.

playback is bilinear, paused is lanzcoz in software mode.
