  Best scanner for lotsa 35mm negs on MAC

  I’ve seen the Epson v700 mentioned as a good scanner, not toooo ridiculously high priced.

  But I’ve read that it uses Silverfast software which is a nightmare for mac users (I know this from experience).

  Will photoshopCS4 work with this scanner?

  Can anybody recommend any other scanner under a thousand dollars?
