  • Best Rendering Settings in Vegas for Youtube? (1080p and 720p)

    Hello there. 😀

This has probably been asked many times, anyway, no one has a definitive answer. :S

I’m using the HD PVR to record Halo: Reach footage to my PC (720p, since 1080i seems to suck for fast-moving gameplay) and I’m not sure which are the best rendering settings.

I also want know which is better between Sony AVC, WMV, MP4, etc. (the original files are in .TS (.H264) format, as recorded from the HD PVR)

I only care about quality, not file size (except of course, for the bizarre .AVI).

I am using Sony Vegas Pro 10.

In case you don’t know just tell me what you use and send me a video link, thanks a lot. 😉

    Pedro

    1) Vegas Pro 10 has Sony AVC renderer (h264) with appropriate templates for Youtube (use Mainconcept AVC renderer in Vegas Pro 11 or newer)
    2) Try free Video4YouTube plug-in

I tried the sony renderer and it unsynchronized my audio and video. (Source is a Canon HF20 AVCHD).

I use main concepts mp4 and set it for 50 megabits per sec constant bit rate so youtube has more than enough information to compress.
