Best rendering settings for HD 720

What is your target? Blu-ray? YouTube? iPad? The target device will determine the best way to render.

I have a couple targets. Mainly DVD, I’d also like to put it on youtube and have a personal copy on my hard drive.

For DVD you would render the video as MainConcept MPEG2 with the DVD Architect NTSC Widescreen video stream template and the audio as Dolby Digital AC-3 Pro with the Stereo DVD template.

For YouTube I would render to Sony AVC using the Internet 1280×720-30p template.

Well, for some reason, when I click Main Concept MPEG 2, nothing happens. I click next and it minimizes the windows. When I click on it again, the rendering settings window is still there.

Also, if I click out of the settings window to start over, the Main Concept options are no longer available.

It sounds like your installation is corrupt. I would re-install Vegas. This should not be happening.
