Best RAID? 8-bay G-tech vs. Pegasus2 vs. Areca 9050
Hi there,
New to the RAID + RED game, but I’d like to be able to edit raw R3D files from the RED Epic in Premiere Pro CC. I’m wondering what the best setup for me is. Admittedly, I’ve never set one up… so the fact that the Pegasus and G-Tech come loaded with drives and ready to go appeals to me. That said, I don’t want to sacrifice performance if it’s that big of a difference. Does anyone have any strong opinions? I will be working on an iMac.

One key benefit of G-Technology solutions if you are a RED user is the recent introduction of the RED Mini-Mag Reader for our ev Series docking solutions.
