Best places to buy gaffer tape from?
Just wondering where people tend to buy gaffer tape from? In the link below I saw the $16 per roll price from B&H, plus shipping etc., but was wondering if you could but this same tape from places like Target or Home Depot, or any other everyday sources?

Simply put, no. You can buy “Duct” / “Duck” tape at consumer stores but I’ve always been told that the whole point of gaffer’s tape is that it doesn’t leave a residue the way most other tapes do.
I buy almost everything from B&H and Adorama because shipping is free on orders over $50 (I believe) and because they’re in New York state, and I’m not, there’s no sales tax charged.

Some music stores have it. I’ve gotten gaff tape at my local Guitar Center.

I second the B&H choice – they even sell “small” rolls which fit very nicely into a run bag and aren’t too heavy. 6 bucks for a 12 yard roll, and it’s good quality tape.
