  Best option for geting Digibeta into FCP/MP – Workflow Question

  Hi …. I have shot some footage on 35mm, telecined it and transferred to digibeta (one light compressed). I was going back to the post house after offlining it to do an online conform and digital grade.

  HOWEVER … I was wondering if I could do this within FCP using a Black Magic Design Card and a digital beta deck? Would there be any loss of quatlity to the image during the in and out process?

  Could I maybe compile the master and do the digital colour grade at the post house if I was not confident with my monitoring set up? Would the fact that it was a compressed telecine transfer affect anything?

  I want to get the best image possible. Its pretty straight forward edit.
