  Best Nikon DSLR body for video under $ 600

  Could you please share your thoughts and insights on this subject:

  What is the best Nikon DSLR body for video available new or used for under $ 600 ?

  I have several Nikon DX lenses and would prefer to stay with a Nikon body.

  Currently own a Nikon D90 which I love for still photography.

  Secondarily, which Canon body under $ 600 would be the best alternative to Nikon ?
