best learning tutorial
hey folks, im curious as to what you guys think is the best tutorial for AE and why. Book, video whatever. im a premiere veteran, and upon first navigation of AE, im blown away by its interface. although the same was true for premiere, and premiere is butter now. anyways, im very interested in learning this amazing tool, so i would love to hear some feedback from those who have learned the program. thanks – erly

Creating Motion Graphics with After Effects by Chris and Trish Meyers is the standard. You can’t go wrong with it.

I once viewed about 20% of TotalTraining.com’s After Effects DVD series. It was very well done up to the point I was in the process of moving and sold it on eBay. I was already up to speed on AE which is why I sold it. Had I been a beginner I think it would have been a great series to watch.
