Premiere 1.5 should have no problem with CineForm files. Export from Vegas using AVI HD intermediary (these are the CineForm templates).

Note: You may need the full version of CineForm to read these files in Premiere or I thought I read that if you install the trial it will still read files after the trial has expired. (I have CineForm Connect HD so I can’t say if it just works with the Vegas version)

Awsome Thx it works now… no green blinking corrupt looking video(we will see in 30 days?)…I Used the aspect HD instead of the more spendy products figured theyd be more updated…Funny thing was before I Installed the trial, Cineform was at 3.8 in vegas rnow it is 4.1.0 In vegas, weird since it is for Premire, Pretty cool of them to do that, I will definately look to their products in the future. In the Interum I found that HDV 720p 30fps worked straight from vegas, HDV 1080i -60i with many diff config options no…Still convinced that there might be some stock setting to work… the Video initially came from a firestore fs-4 and was m2t and vegas kicks ass rendering mpeg… prem is too artifacty. thx very much G

Yea, that’s what I was referring to. When I got ConnectHD it replaced the CineForm codec in Vegas too so now I’m not sure what Vegas can do on it’s own and what you need the full version of CineForm for. That’s why I said you’d have to try it and see. Glad it worked out for you.
