    Hi,
    What is the best format for image import into FCP X ?
    I have some slides images that are appearing a little fuzzy on the time line but fine in the viewer.
    I have tried importing .png and .jpg of varying sizes.
    Also it is automatically sizing the slides on the time line to the video’s perspective (720×480 16:9). Is there a way disable the automatic sizing ?

    The fit format is the default behavior. If you want to change it, you have to use the spatial conform function in the inspector. Change it from Fit to Fill or to None.
