best firewire 400/800 card to add to Macpro desktop???
Because my AJA IO HD uses the last remaining firewire port on my Mac Pro desktop, I will need to purchase an additional firewire card to control my Sony M35U VTR deck from within FCP7.
What is the best Mac compatible firewire card (with firewire 400 and 800 ports) I can get for my desktop?

Why not just by a hub?

Because a hub would still work off the one and only bus on the system.
Check out Other World Computing for a PCIe FW card.
