    Hi all,

    New to the forum.

I am looking to export a short video from Vegas 11 and need it to be as close to HD broadcast quality as possible (I am in the UK)

What settings should I be looking for in ‘Properties’ and ‘Render As’?

    I am shooting 1920×1080 on a Sony HXR-NX70

    Thanks all.

Your project settings should match the source footage. The render settings depend on what the final destination will be. Will it be for television broadcast, per your question? Or something different, like Blu-Ray?

This is for a little two minute viral for a low budget feature film.

When we come to shoot/edit the movie it’ll need to be to spec acceptable for movie / DVD release…

    Apologies if a little vague!

For HD Broadcast quality, i always use the Quicktime Photo-jpeg,
Because it also plays well on any system and for any Broadcast
    house.
