  Best export from Resolve to VFX and come back to resolve

  Hi guys, after a month, finally I’m done with my on hour doc all in resolve, editing and now color grading but from a musician request I have to remove a few dots from an instrument. Those dots represents different octaves.

  Please, don’t laugh but I still use my old Autodesk combustion for some stuff and I want to use it for this.

  Anyway, My footage is raw cinema DNG 2.5k. I’m guessing from resolve export DPX 10 bit, open it in combustion and when done come back to resolve or, export the shot color corrected and done as dpx, then work in combustion and comeback as dpx 10bit and put it back in resolve.
