  • Best Drive to Edit with in FCP7?

Okay, maybe not best, per se, but what’s a pretty good drive to edit with in FCP7? I’ve heard that g-technology drives are pretty good, but I wonder why they have so many bad reviews on amazon…

My system doesn’t support USB 3.0, but supports firewire 800.
I saw this drive on amazon. Anyone know how good it is? “G-Technology G-DRIVE 2TB External Hard Drive w/ eSATA, USB 2.0, Firewire 400, Firewire 800”

And how would I know if my computer has an eSATA port? Thanks!

I’m looking for this exact drive, haven’t been able to find one. Where on amazon is this? Can you post a link?

Never mind, I want a Graid, not GDrive.

If that is a MBP 17″, look in the left side and see if there is an EXPRESS SLOT.
In that case you can buy an Express/eSATA card (LaCie, Sonnet,..) and plug eSATA drives.
That’s the best option for your mac.
