Activity Forums Adobe After Effects Best codec for HD files out of AE into Premiere?

    ideally, you would like to use a lossless or uncompressed codc out of ae and let your nle convert it to what it is using to edit in.

    however, that does require a lot of disk space. so the next best thing would be to render to the codec that the nle is using… so, if you are using a setup in premiere for hdv, render to hdv in ae with the same settings you are using in premiere. likewise, if you were using a dvcprohd setup.
