I am rendering simple 2000 x 1000 b/w shape tweens in Flash that I am then exporting into AE blending them with different blending modes for an experimental project.

Just wondering if anyone has a definitive idea on what would be the most processor friendly codec to export into for simple b/w shape movements?

    Thanks

The most processor-friendly codec is always uncompressed — it requires essentially no processing, but it requires big time disk bandwidth.

For large fields of black and white, animation codec will be light on both the disk and the CPU. As the patterns get more intricate, this efficiency will diminish.
