Best Codec for a long video with minimal movement HD
I am rendering a 90 minute video of a speaker at a podium. Shot in 1080p24. The final render will be posted for streaming at a minimum 720p resolution.
90% of the frame is static so I would think there is a good codec to keep the file small. Ideally less than 1GB.I am most familiar with shorter HD videos with lots of scene changes, and the h.264 codec. This yields unwieldy file sizes once the bitrate is acceptable.
2.5GB+ at 2000kbsWhat is an appropriate codec and settings for this type of video?

If you kick out an mp4 @ 720p with a bitrate of 1300-1500 you should be in decent shape. Let me know how that works.
