best capture card/box to use with Vegas?
what is the best capture card/box to use with sony vegas 9 or higher?
I have a Pinnacle but the two will not work together.

It depends on what you want to capture.
If it’s digital footage from a miniDV camcorder, then a basic firewire card (less than $20) is all you need.
If it’s analog footage from a VHS/8mm deck, the one of the Green Valley (aka Canopus) boxes (ADVC55, ADVC110, ADVC300) is what you want.
If it’s something other than this, let us know and we can make further recommendations.
