best brand mini-dv tape
Any suggestions about the best brand of mini dv tape to record on. I’ve been using Sony blue-label premium DVC tapes for the economy and the availability, but I wonder if buying a higher end tape would make a difference in the record quality. Thanks, Chris G.

Stick with one brand and don’t switch. Best for the DVX are the Panasonic 63MQs.

How are the 83MQ’s? As dependable as the 63’s?

So, let’s just say that I wanted to try out some panasonic-brand tapes (to see the difference in quality), is ok to use the same company, but use different quality tapes within that company?
