    Well, BetaSP is an 8 bit format, so capturing 8-bit uncompressed would get you the same results as 10-bit uncompressed. But really, you need very fast drives for uncompressed. Look at ProRes NTSC…the SD ProRes setting. 10-bit quality but lower data rate. It’ll look the same.

    Shane is telling you to use ProRes 422. It’s a 10 bit quality with a lower data rate than 8 or 10 bit uncompressed.
