Okay, from what I’ve read, PCM is the better option over MPEG audio – but multiplexed or not? If not, then you import 2 assets and put each on the timeline… Any sync problems with this? I’m just curious what the big difference between the files would be. Someone said the audio is not as good if you multiplex before Encore…? Can anyone shed some light on this? Thanks!

Encore prefers separate video and audio streams (the exception is AVI, which is usually video and audio interleaved). Separate streams will not introduce any sync issues, unless there are issues with video and audio sync before importing into Encore. Preferred audio format is PCM WAV, 16-bit 48kHz.
