I’m trying to reproduce this house that was modeled in Vectorworks. I’m not interested in the line quality, just the basic 3d forms.

Would i start with a spline for the floor plan and then extrude for the walls? If so, the wall height is variable, how would i create the part that meets the roof?
And the roof, what would be the best way to model that?

    Thanks.

make the extruded walls high enough for the highest point (or higher) then use the roof (or a copy of the roof) to cut the walls (with a Boole) – then you just remove the extra part left over at the top.
Modelling the roof depends on what it’s shape really is because there are a lot of ways that could be used.
