Best application for the job?
I am looking to process some ProRes quicktimes and apply a LUT to effect the color. I have been provided the LUT by a colourist which has been created through another piece of software.
Is Resolve the best piece of software I could use in order to apply the LUT to the ProRes quicktimes and output MXF files and an ALE for ingest into an avid?

While I don’t normally work with Avid/MXF workflows, I can tell you that Resolve is a pretty good option for applying LUTs to Quicktimes in general. It’s definitely one of the fastest ways of doing it.
