best and smallest camcorder compatible with FCP
I’m looking or a good camcorder like the panasonic HX-WA10, it produces Mp4 files, which i know isn’t the greatest with mac or is it? i need the small pistol grip type because i will be having the camera with me for long periods of time shooting a vast array of things. any suggestions? small, good with FCP. thanks nad create a wonderful week. yes, the Panasonic HX-WA10
that’s the one i was thinking of. i was wondering the problems if any with Mp4 files and FCP. any ideas. would it be too much of a problem with FCP. i need a camera i can pull out, lightweight, easy to handle, rugged. shoots in low light, seems to be the ideal camera. hopefully. We’ll see.

Well, with mp4 you have to convert the footage to edit with it in FCP.

does fcp X work with Mp4 better than FCP studio. i’m not familiar with Compressor either.

JVC HM100U records HD Quicktime files that can be dropped straight into FCP timeline.
Top handle can be removed if you want it really compact.
