  Behringer Control surface fader — Do I need it?

  When I was transitioning from 16mm film to digital and didn’t really understand NLE’s and keyframes, I bought this Behringer BCF2000 B-Control USB/MIDI Controller thinking I would need it to mix sound. But never unboxed or plugged it in. Now that I know I can mix sound bit by bit in PP or AU, I’m wondering if it really has any potential use for me or if I should try to pass it on to some E-music band.
  Any thoughts?
