    If its a video clip you could duplicate the layer and use the pen tool to create a mask of just the head and set the mask type to add, then key the position of it moving/falling/whatever. At the point where the head leaves the body create another mask of the head but set it to subtract. Once you do that youll need a background image for those frames since the mask is taking away that material. It can be a bit difficult to explain…if this is what youre questioning about. At any rate, itll show you how to make a still image of the background for the subtraction mask.
