I have made a movie in Sony Vegas platinum and it has saved it as an avi. file. I can’t author it in DVD Architect becasue its looking for a dar. file. What am I doing wrong? Please and Thanks.

The Dar file is a project file This is used for saving your project to use later (so you can insert media into the same project quickly). If you start a new project in DVD Architect you can then insert your media (avi file). However, note that it will recompress the file. You ideally want to output to Mpeg-2 video stream from Vegas. I believe with the platinum your audio will need to be wav? I could be wrong on the audio aspect as I don’t have that version of vegas.
