before QT movie loads on webpage a black box flashes in the position of the movie
Dear Friends,
I have compressed a photo jpeg quicktime movie into h.264 using QT 7. I have never had this problem before but when the movie page loads, a black box flashes for a couple of seconds before the movie player appears. We are seeing this problem in Safari on a Power PC Mac. I am not seeing it on my Intel Mac. I tried changing the background color of the movie (QT preferences) to another color but we are still getting black. Does anyone have any idea what is going on and how I can fix it? It loaded fine on a windows system in IE, Chrome, Firefox and Windows Safari. The page itself takes a while to load (about 10-15 seconds), but I didn’t see anything with the loading of the video that was unusual.
The page itself is also a little sluggish if you click around, so it could be the page coding and not the embedded video that’s causing the issue?
