    Hi ya, I need to be able to do a ‘Batman style’ search light effect on a wide shot of a night time sky…. does anyone have any links to any tuts for this by any chance please?…. or what would the technique be please????

    Can this even be done in AE?

    or you can just :
    – create a Layer,
    – Draw a Search type Mask, (Feather the mask or add Fast Blur)
    – Move the Anchor Point of the Layer were is needed, so that way the layer a.k.a search light will move as desire.
