Batch Video Clip Trimming ?
Hi Guys, returning to the video editing scene after some time and find each video clip from my now digital cameras ( AVCHD ) have a sound delay and click at the start and end.
As I do some editing in camera as shooting, I have to initialy remove half a second from each end of clip after importing, before detailed editing.
Wondering if Vegas 10 had a batch trimmer to quickly remove half second from every clip ?
My previous set used Mini DV tape which was seamless between clips when camera paused.

That’s one of the advantages of using the Pro version. A script can easily do what you’re wanting but scripts aren’t supported in the Movie Studio versions.

Hi Edward, no I only have Vegas 10 Platinum (trial) so no scripts – could there be a way of high-lighting all clips on timeline and removing first / last half second ?

That’s why I mentioned it being an advantage in the pro version. In Movie Studio, you get to do it by hand – one at a time.
