  • Batch Processing Camera RAW into 1920×1080 tiffs for FCP – Emergency Help!

    Hello

I am new to this forum but I have an urgent request for anyone who might be able to help. I am not so strong with Photoshop CS3 and I need to do a batch process of thousands of Camera RAW files into 1920×1080 tiff’s for FCP.

I have only done a batch once in the past and the files were NOT RAW so i start recording and the problem is that the RAW dialogue box pops open and stops the automated recorded process.

I am in a tight pinch here and need to process these asap for an editor to use so if anyone can explain to me from beginning to end how to make this action for batch processing huge RAW files into 1920×1080 tiff’s i would really appreciate the help.

    Thank You

    lisa

With Raw you normally want to color correct and develop them

I suggest you look at the Image Processor Script as well

you can always crop with a target size using Crop tool

Take a look at the Photoshop for Video podcast series under Podcast tab
