    Hi,

I want to select a folder and resize images to 800×600 if landscape and 600×800 if portrait.

Is this possible? If it is how can I achieve it?

    Thanks

    Try this

In bridge go to your folder.

In the upper right corner select from the drop down menu “short by dimensions”. If your images have a constant resolution this will short the vertical first and the horizontal second.

Press shift and click on the first and last vertical pictures, this will select them all.

Then go to the menu >Tools >Photoshop >Batch

That will open Photoshop in the batch window. Here you can have two defined actions, one for your 800×600 and another for your 600×800.

Select your destination folder and you’re ready to go. Repeat the process of Batch for the horizontal images.

    I hope this helps
