  Batch Export?!

  Hey all,

  Something very strange happened to me a couple of days ago. I tried to batch export 14 tapes worth of footage from DVCPRO HD 720p60 to the APPLE PRO RES HQ codec. Each tape was about a half hour. Whenever i’d do this it would only export half the clip! What I had to end up doing was bringing EACH half hour clip into the timeline and export using quicktime conversion to Apple Pro Res HQ one by one and that worked fine. I dont get it!

  I then tried this with another job we had that needed a batch export (HDV codec to DVC PRO HD720P 60) with about 4 tapes worth of footage ranging from half hour to an hour each on another machine and it did the same thing! If a tape was an hour the batch export ended up giving me a half hour not an hour of the clip!

  Before i did these two things I batch exported a ton of HD H.264 clips shot on the CANON D5 to the XD CAM EX 1080P 30 codec and it exported all the clips just fine!

  Is it because those clips were very short (ranging from 10 seconds to 2 minutes give or take) and it doesnt work well with FULL TAPES worth of information?
