    Batch Export problems

    I’ve got a bunch of HD QT files that I need to down convert to 720 x 486 29.97 fps 10 bit uncompressed while preserving the aspect ratio by cropping. I can compress an individual file the way I want to using only QT, but when I use FCP to batch export, all of my clips are smashed to fit 720 x 486 instead of cropped. All of the settings from FCP match the ones I use in QT, so why the different outcomes? I’ve got hundreds of clips, so doing them one by one really isn’t an option. Anyone else run into this?

    Any ideas? It’s looking like Compressor might be my only other option.
