First of all, I’m pretty much happy with the update. I think libraries are a step in the right direction, and I will not miss the Events/Projects paradigm.
But, I have to say, I’m kinda shocked that more people don’t complain about the lack of batch export.
I’m an everyday FCPX editor who often needs to export 30+ projects with the same settings. I can’t tell you how frustrating it is to repeat the share process for each one. With this update, my first thought was “Yay! I can finally select multiple projects at once. Surely this will allow me to batch export!” Nope, it only recognizes the first in the list. Batch “send to compressor”? nope. first one only. Is batch export not a popular feature? am I crazy, or missing something? Sure, I could export each one individually and batch them in compressor, but that defeats the purpose. I want to get them all out in one shot – same settings, same destination.

First thing I tried. Surprised it isn’t there.

Crabs! Was hoping for this feature. Use it multiple times a day in legacy.
