  • batch create sequences from a group of folders or text document contents

I have 175 clips and each of these clips has to go into it’s own sequence. Therefore creating 175 different sequences.
My Issue is, each sequence needs to be a specific name, as its an exercise.

This way, each sequence then will be export as a seperate shot for compositing.

Is there a way to batch create sequences in premiere?
I have all the shots exported as folders, with the same names. Could I somehow use the folder names to create sequences? Or perhaps use a text document where each line of text is a sequence name?
Would save me a lot of time.

As future jobs could hold up to 500 + sequences.

    Thanks.

I have no clue if it’s possible in Premiere, but in Avid it’s not a big deal.
If that is not an option, I could make you something that does this.
