Hi, i’ve got a problem when batch capturing, something which has never happened before.

    Just upgraded to version 6…….

I’m trying to digitize a full tape, a live show of a band, shot without the camera ever being turned off.

I split the tape into about 4 clips of 15 minutes each to bring file sizes down, this normally works a treat, no missing frames.

now when i go to capture, it randomly detects timecode breaks where there are none (i’m used to this happening when capturing HDV, but this problem is happening in down converted DV too).

Rather than doing its painfully slow process of stopping and starting, it continues to capture, making a new clip, but missing out the 5 seconds or so of tape footage the camera( a Z1) played whilst the computer was sorting itself out.

Any ideas? Tried a few different timcode break settings, nothing worked, and i don’t think there are any on the tape anyway.

Got a maxed up G5 quad core, so shouldn’t be any memory issues.

    Thanks in advance.
