    Hi,
Was looking at some of the AE tutorials and saw under one of the summaries a ‘Basic in After Effects Series’
Is it still on the website, having trouble locating this series, anyone know where it is?
    Many Thanks
    Andrew

I thnk the best crash course in AE is at the Edior’s Guild Magazine:

An Introduction to Adobe After Effects

    https://www.editorsguild.com/AfterEffects.html

Then come back to the Cow and comense to soar.

My article mechanism is still in limbo while we work on the new mechanism overall, and start working on the new interface, but in the meantime, you can find a lot of the older articles by clicking on the after effects cow banner above.

Here’s the direct link to some of our basics tutorials:
    https://www.creativecow.net/show.php?page=/articles/aftereffects_basics.html

Then for some of our more recent articles, click on the Tutorials link to the left.

    Hey Andrew,

I can recommend just the item. Go to ebay and get the “how to gurus” 6 cd set. It’s very cheap and starts from the most basic level of After E.. On Ebay search just type Adobe after effects and start bidding. You should be able to pick this up for around $45. I have no connections to ebay or this product. Tutorial CD’s or DVD’s are the fastest way from point A to point B.
    Best of Luck

It would be a very good idea for you to go to http://www.VTC.com. The instructor for after effects Nathan Dickson is quite a gifted teacher. His level of coherent communication is very high.
